A venue or location for an event can be created and then it can be used for one or more events. From your WordPress dashboard (WP-admin) go to Event Espresso –> Venues and click on Add New Venue.

How do I get help with Event Espresso?
Event Espresso has tips on troubleshooting issues from within the plugin. Login to your WP-admin (WordPress dashboard) and then look for Event Espresso in the admin menus and then click on Help & Support.

What do I do with my domain?

We don’t sell domains, so if you don’t have one already, you’ll need to take care of that. Click here to check out a few domain registrars we trust. Once you’ve got your domain, follow the simple instructions in your StudioPress Portal to hook things up.

Are the “included” plugins free?

Some of the plugins we’ve partnered with are free, some are not.

We’ve just made it very simple — one-click simple — to set up a powerfully functional site with the plugins we believe are the best in the business. And yes, Event Espresso 4 is available in both the Single Shot and Double Shot plans.

You are not required to enter a support license for any of the plugins but it is required if you would like one-click updates for those plugins (including Event Espresso). However, customers that are signed up for our Plugin Update Service get monthly updates to our premium and partner plugins automatically, as we manage the licenses for you.

Do you offer SSL certificates?

Yes. We offer free, automated digital SSL certificates through Let’s Encrypt.

What about security and site backups?

Beyond the rock-solid security features built into the Barista platform, our very architecture is expressly designed to maximize security and performance. This includes intrusion prevention, continuous scanning and monitoring for malware, distributed denial of service (DDoS) protection, and much more. In addition, your site is completely backed up on a daily basis, so you know that all of your data is secure.

Can you help me move/migrate my existing WordPress site?

We’ve partnered with the good folks at Fantasktic to provide an incredible discount to Barista customers ONLY. You could call this the “no-hassle” option. Just give Fantasktic some basic information, and they’ll take you through the process. These people have truly made migrations easy. When you take the annual plan you have migration included (monthly customers pay $99 for WordPress migration).

If you’re a bit more advanced in your knowledge of how WordPress and content migrations work, you can also check out the two WordPress migration plugins we recommend. One is a paid plugin, and the other is completely free of charge. Just remember: you’re on your own if you choose this route!

What if my site takes off and I get a ton of traffic/users/sales?

After you’ve chosen your plan, don’t worry about things like RAM, GB, and bandwidth … we’re not going to nickel and dime you for overages. Ever. Here’s the thing, if you choose the Single Shot plan and your site grows to a point that it needs more resources, we’ll let you know when it’s time to upgrade your plan.

How do I cancel my account?

If for any reason, Barista isn’t your thing, you can easily cancel at any time, upon request.

How many sites can I have per plan?

Each Barista hosting plan that you purchase includes one website, complete with all of the features you see discussed on this page. So, if you have a need for two websites (either new or to migrate), you’d purchase the appropriate Barista hosting plan for each of those sites.

Can I install any plugin or theme, or just the ones available through 1-click install?

You can install any WordPress plugin or theme on your site, as long as it does not threaten the stability or security of the server. If we see an issue we’ll let you know!

Do you automatically update the included plugins?

No. We provide an easy one-click install of recommended plugins, but you are responsible for the updates of those plugins (including other plugins that you may add in the future).

If you would like us to update plugins for you, we have paid options available, just let us know.

Will I have FTP access?

No, by default, you will not have FTP access to your site. FTP login credentials are only available upon request.
